A sticky, or sticky topic, is usually a topic where important information has been posted. Sticky topics always remain at the top of the Message Index, and can be identified by the thumbtack icon Sticky topic.png in the subject line.

Administrators commonly use sticky topics for announcements, rules, or other important information that needs to be easily visible and accessible to members. Sticky topics can be locked, moved, or replied to like a normal topic.

To create a sticky topic, select set topic sticky from the bottom of the topic, or check the sticky this topic in the Additional Options section when making a post.
