A child board (or sub-board) is a board which is placed within another board. The board it is contained in is the parent board. Administrators set this up in modify boards. Child boards can be used to organize information and discussions on a forum, and will be listed below their parent boards in search pages, jump-to boxes, etc. Child board posts do not affect the statistics of their "grandparent" boards.
