At the end of the forum index, there is a section called Users Online. This provides a list of users who are browsing the forum in the last x minutes. This feature can be enabled, or disabled, and the number of minutes can be changed, by selecting Features and Options in the admin panel.

This list displays members in order of recent activity. Users which belong to certain membergroups, such as administrator or global moderator, appear in a different color to regular users in this list. Administrators, for example, appear in red, and global moderators appear in blue. Regular users appear in the default color associated with the forum theme.

To find out what individual users are doing on a forum, select the icon to the left of Users Online, or the Guests, Users above the list of users. Both of these lead to a page which displays the actions of everyone (guests, users, and hidden) who are currently browsing the forum. As an example, this is the Who's Online page for this forum.

On this page, it is possible to change the display, so that it shows only users, or only guests. To do this, select the drop down menu on the right of the page, and choose either members only, or guests only.

Note that the activity of hidden users can only be viewed by administrators.
