Theme settings are configurable options that the Administrator sets that impacts the way the forum looks and behaves. These settings can't be changed by regular members like how Theme options are configured by members to match their personal taste.

Theme settings can be edited by the Administrator in the admin panel > Themes and Layout > Theme Settings.

Some examples of theme settings are:

  • Number of recent posts that are shown on the board index.
  • Whether to show forum news on the theme or not.
  • Whether to show buttons in a theme as images instead of just plain text.
