A poll is used for voting. You can create whatever options (answers) you want along with the question to go along with them.
A poll is used for surveys or voting. It is a message accompanied by a multiple-choice question, created using the '''New Poll''' button, or by using the '''Add Poll''' button at the bottom of an existing topic.  [[Member]]s, if permitted, can reply to the topic as well as participate in the polling. <noinclude> For more, see [[Posting#Poll_Options|Poll Options]].


A [[topic]] with a poll works just like a normal topic. The only difference is there are the poll questions on the top of the topic. [[Member]]s can still make replies to the topic.

You can create a new poll (if you have the proper permissions to do so) by clicking on the New Poll button inside of a [[board]]. You can also add a poll to an existing topic by clicking on the Add Poll button on the bottom of a topic.
