Well, If you want to put a logo/banner up on your forum. You will need your cpanel and admin panel of the forum.
Many themes provide an easy way to show a custom logo or banner for your site. All you need to do is to upload the image file (you may use cpanel or ftp), note the URL, and tell the theme to use that URL. You may want to test your desired logo or banner out on a test version of your site, to see if it is compatable with your theme.


1 -- Upload your logo/banner from your computer and put it onto your severPut the logo/banner in the root of the site is the public_html folder.

3 --  After that you go into that folder.  Now in the images folder of the theme you are using on your forum.  Go down the page and you will see the smflogo.  You should download that logo onto your computer first before you removed that logo out of the theme.  Hit the logo and on the right side of the cpanel.  It's will show you edit file all that.  Pick delete file and it will put it in the trash can in the cpanel.

4 -- Now go back to the root of the site is public_html folder on your sever.  Go down to your logo/banner and hit your logo/banner.  It's will pop up on the right side of the c-panel.  The edit file all that plus the "link of the logo/banner". Copy that link out of your c-panel.
 
5 --  Log into your forum admin panel.  You will see configuration after that you will see "Current Theme". 
 
6 -- Go into your's current theme now.  You will see the "Logo image URL" for you logo link you copy out of your's c-panel.  Now paster that link into that "Logo image URL"
 
7 -- Hit save you are done.
 
Note --  Some logo/banner is kindly hard to get them to show up on theme's now.
