Bulletin Board Codes (BBC) are used to format posts. These are commonly called “tags”. For example, to bold text you would use the bold tag: [b]Bold[/b] which will display as Bold when posted.

BBC can be used for images, lists, tables, and links, as well as formatting font size, color, and decoration.
